California - Higher Ed Sales Executive

As a Sales Executive you will report to the Director of Sales of McCann Associates and be the primary driver for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities on a national basis in the higher education market. In this business development role you will manage the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to close. You will generate leads, engage prospects, lead web-based demonstrations and conduct live presentations to introduce the unique benefits and advantages offered by McCann Associates, build relationships, write proposals and close business.
To be successful in this challenging position qualified candidates must have -

- A strong understanding of college/university systems and its sales process.
- A minimum of 5 years experience executing a tactical and strategic sales process, selling assessments and educational software solutions.

- A track record of consistently achieving large sales quotas selling into the higher education market.
- Superior telephone and customer-facing presentation skills.
- Proven success creating and executing an effective sales plan.
- A passion for driving the full sales life-cycle including prospecting, lead generation, contact, presentation, relationship building, negotiating, proposal writing, closing and account management.

The Product Manager / Project Manager (PPM) is a member of the Operations Team, reporting to the Senior Project Manager Team Leader. The PPM is responsible for leading the scrum cycles for the College Success application and for major client implementations.
Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working with product stakeholders to define user stories / project needs; prioritizing the workflow; working with the development team to implement product enhancements; managing the entire build-out of the College Success application
- Conduct quality assurance testing on new applications and/or new enhancements
- Developing project scope documentation and executing the project plan on time and within budget
- Prepare detailed application related documentation; material may include user guides, technical specifications, tutorials, reference material, and training materials
- Develop specifications and requirements documentation to be provided to the implementation team including, but not limited to, storyboards, and data flow diagrams.
- Implement new customers onto College Success and ensure a successful experience
- Prepare and send weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly updates to clients based on specific requests and/or contractual commitments
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for supervisor
- Oversee invoicing for assigned accounts
- Document processes and procedures; make suggestions for process improvements
- Prepare training materials for internal customer service department; and deliver in-person training to internal customer service department
- Work with the test development team to ensure sufficient and adequate content for the program
- Work with psychometrics team to ensure validation and other studies are completed; deliver and present findings and reports to client
- Work with the scoring center to schedule expert scoring of paper and pencil examinations
- Serve as a point-of-contact to the customer and internal departments for day-to-day execution of project.
- Ensure that all program services and products are of high quality, delivered on time and on budget.
- Coordinate the production of user-related materials.
- Perform related project management and account management duties as needed.

Qualifications/Skills:
- BA/BS Degree in related field required.
- Experience with agile project management, SCRUM, sprint cycles and working closely with software development team and stakeholders
- 3-5 yrs prior experience in product management and project management in a software development workplace strongly desired.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrix environment and still maintain quality and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused - establishes and maintains customer relationships; highly skilled in managing customer expectations.

Client Services Representative II

The Client Services Representative II is a member of the Operations Team, reporting to the Senior Project Manager Team Leader. The Client Services Representative II communicates with, supports and manages clients using the McCann suite of software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist the project manager in implementing new projects/new clients and maintaining existing client relations
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the project manager
- Prepare and send weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly updates to clients based on specific requests and/or contractual commitments
- Maintain communications with clients to address day-to-day needs and special requests
- Serves as a liaison between the client and the project manager
- May receive and manage Police and Fire orders
- Create and manage weekly invoice reports for accounting for all Police and Fire accounts and other accounts specifically assigned to the Client Services Representative
- Communicate general updates to clients and internal staff highlighting new features and tools
- Conduct quality assurance testing on new applications and/or new enhancements
- Prepare detailed application related documentation; material may include user guides, technical specifications, tutorials, reference material, and training materials
- Document processes and procedures
- Prepare training materials for internal customer service department; and deliver in-person training to internal customer service department
- Receive, record, and manage customer orders
- Interact with web-based applications for purposes of assisting end users; clients; and other departments
- Prepare newsletters
- Work with the test development team to review items, tests, and score reports;
- Work with the scoring center to schedule expert scoring of paper and pencil examinations
- Identify application bugs, document and manage them in our tracking system
- Troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
- Attend project and staff meetings
- Other duties and responsibilities as may be required
